Welcome to Terra Bear Arts. Here you will find digital representations of hand-crafted, photogravure prints and cameraless photography by Jon Lybrook, owner of Terra Bear Arts. You may be asking, what is cameraless photography? The one-of-a-kind pieces you are about to see were often created without a camera or enlarger by manipulating light sensitive, black and white negative film directly with photographic chemicals. Other prints were created by laying figurative images captured digitally with chemigram abstrations. They are all the result of over 30 years of work and experimentation in the craft of photography. Prints by Terra Bear Arts are rooted in pure photographic processes, utilizing modern and traditional printmaking techniques.
